Mail10Min ("we", "our", "the service") is a free temporary email service that lets users receive emails and OTP verification codes without registering an account. We are committed to being transparent about what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using Mail10Min, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Mail10Min is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. When you use the service, the following data may be temporarily stored:

• Inbox address: A randomly generated email address assigned to your session.
• Received emails: The sender address, subject line, message body (plain text and/or HTML), and any detected OTP codes from incoming emails.
• Timestamps: The time each inbox was created and when each email was received.
• IP address / access logs: Standard server access logs may capture your IP address for security and abuse prevention purposes. These are not linked to inbox content.

We do not collect your name, phone number, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information. No account registration is required.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To display received emails and extracted OTP codes in your browser session.
• To provide real-time push notifications via WebSocket when new emails arrive.
• To automatically clean up expired inboxes and emails after the retention window closes.
• To detect and block abusive traffic, spam, or misuse of the service.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for marketing or advertising targeting based on your inbox content.

3. Data Retention

All inboxes and their associated emails are automatically deleted after the expiry timer runs out (default: 10 minutes from creation). Users may extend the inbox lifetime by up to 30 minutes using the "more time" feature. Once the timer expires, all data is permanently purged from our database. We do not retain archives of expired inboxes or emails.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

Mail10Min uses your browser's localStorage to remember your current inbox address between page reloads. No session tracking cookies are set for general users. If you use the Admin panel, a session cookie (tm_admin) is set for authentication purposes only and is not used for tracking.

5. Third-Party Services

Our website uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history and interests. This is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy and Ad Settings. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.

We also use Google Analytics (if enabled) to understand aggregate usage patterns. This data is anonymized and does not identify individual users.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect data stored on our servers, including encrypted database storage, secure server configurations, and automated cleanup routines. However, because emails sent to temporary inboxes travel over the public internet, we cannot guarantee end-to-end encryption of email content in transit. Do not use Mail10Min to receive sensitive personal or financial information.

7. Children's Privacy

Mail10Min is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a child has used this service in a way that raises privacy concerns, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the service or applicable law. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
